What is personal training?
Personal
training consists of one on one coaching
from a certified personal fitness trainer. This trainer teaches you, motivates you, and
gets you to work hard consistently while
following a detailed fitness and nutrition
plan. Each plan is developed for you
based on you and your goals.
Personal
training is the most effective method of
achieving your health, fitness, and/or
weight loss goals. It utilizes the most
effective exercise and nutrition strategies
while at the same time it keeps you
continuously making progress.
How will I benefit from working with a
personal trainer?
You WILL
benefit in so many different ways... here's
just a short list:
Here are
some more benefits:
I could
go on for days!
What kind of results can I expect?
It
honestly depends primarily on how bad you
want to achieve your goals and how hard you
are willing to work. Our personal training
programs will allow you to get the most out
of your fitness and nutrition.
On
average, most clients lose approximately 1
pound of body fat (not scale weight) per
week and often will lose 5-15 pounds in a 6
week period.
Don't
take my word for it though... be sure to
also check out our
success stories
to hear how others have benefited from our
programs.
How do I know which program is right for me?
It all
depends... first, you need to know what your
goals are... then look at the different
programs we offer and see if you see one
that's a good match. Check out the different
personal training programs now.
If after
looking at the different programs you still
aren't sure, don't worry, we can help you
figure it out. Just give us a call at
631-828-0497 or
email us.
How often should I meet with a personal
trainer?
This
still depends upon your goals, how quickly
you want to achieve them, your schedule and
time available to exercise, and your
budget... When considering the cost, be sure to
remember that this is your health and there
is nothing on earth that is more
important... because without it you have
nothing.
On
average, most clients do best when they meet
with a personal trainer 2-3 times per
week... less than that many people will
slack off and not get nearly as much out of
it. Here are a few
things to keep in mind when determining how
often you'll meet with your trainer...
1. how fast do you want
to achieve your goal and see results
The more frequently you
meet with your trainer the faster you'll see
results and achieve your goals and there are
several reasons for this... consistency,
accountability, motivation, guidance, you'll
work much harder with your trainer than on
your own, etc.
2. how much experience
with exercise do you have and how much do
you really know
While many people have
exercised before, many for years... but do
you really know it all? It's not likely...
we spend years and years studying and
learning to know what we know and our
primary focus is on helping and teaching
you. Think about it... if you don't know
taxes (like I sure don't :) ) are you going
to try to figure it out yourself or have
someone help you? Why leave your fitness
results to chance?
Most clients we work with
start out meeting with their personal
trainer 3 times per week and then will
gradually decrease the frequency as they
progress and learn more, and feel more
comfortable and confident on their own.

several reasons...

people thru workouts like most personal

What areas do you service?
Our fitness and weight
loss programs are offered throughout
Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
Where will I meet with my trainer?
We offer
personal training in area health clubs and
gyms as well as in your home, office, or
apartment fitness center.
The cost
of our programs is the same whether you have
a trainer come to you or meet with one in a
health club. The only additional cost may be
a membership fee if you are working with a
trainer in a health club and you are not
already a member. We can even help you set
up a temporary membership for just the
duration of your fitness training program
with us.
Do I need to have equipment if I am going to
be working with a trainer in my home?
No,
nearly all of our in-home clients have
little or no equipment at all and get
amazing results. Unless you are into power
lifting, bodybuilding, or competitive sports
you don't need lots of machines... all you
need is to work the muscles and you can do
that with body weight calisthenics, exercise
bands, free weights, manual resistance,
exercise balls, etc.
Are all of your personal trainers certified?
Insured?
Yes, all
of our personal trainers hold multiple
certifications, and/or degrees, we carry a
comprehensive insurance policy.
